Connecting the new with the old
Agnanti Apartments were built next to the stone farmhouse of the family, which was declared a traditional building by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation just a few years ago. It was built shortly before 1940 with materials from the area (limestone, igneous pebbles and wooden roof beams, mats and clay).
The modern architectural intervention maintained and fully restored all the traditional elements of the building while creating new spaces with modern materials and simple forms. The result, we believe, is a successful, harmonious coexistence of the old and the new.
Our apartments also offer a taste of history, with artifacts from earlier times exhibited in corners of the bedrooms and living rooms.
